Marina del Rey Harbor
Marina del Rey Harbor has one of the largest harbors in the country for pleasure crafts. It is an excellent area for family outings, learning to sail, or a deep-sea fishing adventure. If you are interested in deep-sea fishing than Marina del Rey is the place to be. At Dock 52 you can hop aboard a charter lasting anywhere from a few hours to a few days. They have all the rods and reels and live bait you need to bring in bonita, halibut, white sea bass, yellowtail, rock cod, and barracuda. There is also a boat launch that will lead you out to sea. The harbor can be very crowded with boats on busy weekends. A little further down Fiji Way you will see a tall blue and white light house. Here is Fisherman's Village and it's perfect for family outings. You can fish off of the docks, visit the souvenir shops, or have a nice meal looking out at the harbor. The area is handicap friendly and crowds are relatively minimal at Fisherman's Village. 13737 Fiji Way |
